The brand’s new campaign, titled ‘Make New Memories with Maa’, centres around rekindling the bond between mothers and children through the simple joy of travel.
The campaign’s short film tells the touching story of a single, retired mother living alone in Delhi. Her adult children, Rohan and Sneha, visit just before Mother’s Day and find an old photograph from a family trip taken years ago. The discovery prompts a heartfelt realisation: it’s been more than a decade since they last travelled with their mother.
Inspired by nostalgia and the desire to make up for lost time, they surprise her with bus tickets booked through the redBus app, along with an empty photo frame labelled “Our perfect trip with Maa”. The frame becomes a powerful symbol — a space waiting to be filled with new, shared experiences.
The film captures the emotional distance that often creeps into modern relationships and how a shared journey can bridge that gap. It celebrates the unwavering resilience of mothers, especially those who have raised their families single-handedly, and underlines how travel can become a vessel for healing, laughter, and renewed connections.
The story concludes with the family boarding a bus, smiling, and recreating their old photo — only this time, with a deeper appreciation for each other and the time they have together.
