Starcom India, part of the Publicis Groupe, has been appointed as the new media Agency of Record (AOR) for McDonald’s India (West and South), taking over from Madison Media, which had handled the account since 2004.
Commenting on the development, Arvind R P, Chief Marketing Officer, McDonald’s India (West and South), said, “We welcome Starcom India as our new media partner. Their strategic approach and strong capabilities in data, digital, and technology make them the right fit for driving our next phase of growth.”
He also expressed appreciation for the outgoing agency: “We would like to thank Madison for a collaborative and productive partnership that has lasted over two decades.”
The mandate includes planning and buying media across platforms as McDonald’s looks to deepen its digital and data-driven media strategy in key regional markets.
